Located in a pastoral mountain valley in Northeast Georgia's Rabun County, Stonewall Creek Vineyards' first vines were planted in 2005. Our 5 acres of some 3,000 European vinifera vines (Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Tannat and Petit Manseng) are planted in ancient mountain soil created over millions of years from nearby Glassy Mountain and a meandering Stonewall Creek. Our grapes are hand-harvested, vinified and bottled on-site.

Our Vineyards & Winery opened in August 2012 with a dry rosé and a dry white (Petit Manseng). We released our first two reds in June 2013 (Cabernet Franc and a Malbec blend) and our first wine under our Standing Deer Cellar label. Our new wines are Boriana (Petit Manseng), Buck Red, and Whitetail.

Re-open May 2014. Bridge Creek Tasting Room - Thursday & Friday. Vineyards & Winery - Saturday & Sunday. Noon-5 p.m. See for updates, Like Facebook. Call 706-212-0584. Owners are Carl and Carla Fackler.
