Sunrise Country Store

'Sunrise Grill' must have been a popular wayside stop for locals and travelers coming the the North Georgia Mountains. Although the exact date of origin of the original business in this location is not now known, it is certain the Sunrise Grocery began life as a Pure Oil gasoline station in the early 1920's.

Sunrise sits at the foot of Blood Mountain and has been serving the local folks for years and as well as a place for the hikers and tourist to stop in and get much needed goods.

We offer local goods such as pottery, jams and jellies, honey, syrup, and local ground meal. We also have camping supplies, firewood, bait, and tackle.  It's a must see while you visit the beautiful mountains of Georgia.
