Between the Rivers Historic District

Take an individual or group tour of our downtown historic "Between the Rivers" district. The area is filled with beautiful Victorian architecture and history. Explore Broad Street. Many of the facades of downtown are being restored and be sure to look up for the gargoyles and other adornments that make this street unique. From Broad Street to the Etowah River, there are many lovely houses and historic churches. This historic district sits in the shadow of our notable landmark, the Clocktower which has kept watch over Georgia's Rome since 1871.
