The Owl's Nest Ellijay

The Owl's Nest mountain cabin is located in Ellijay in north Georgia. The real log cabin, completed in 2008, is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath accommodation in 2 stories, with wood floors, wood burning stacked stone fireplace, wide porches and wooded views from every window. The gated entrance leads you into the 8 acre wooded lot, just past the private fishing lake.

Amenities in the cabin include a master loft on the 2nd floor with a king size bed, full bath and sitting area in the dormer. On the first floor there is a full bath, a bedroom with a king size bed and a bedroom with a queen size bed. The laundry closet is on the first floor, with full size stacking washer and dryer.

Evenings can be enjoyed on the covered wrap-around rocking chair porch or the screened porch, with gas grill and sunset mountain views. The galley kitchen has full size stove and refrigerator, and the island seats 3 for dining. The dining table seats 6. The sitting area and living area, under a cathedral ceiling, have views of the mountains through two sets of french doors, which open onto the screened porch.

The cabin has high speed Internet access with Wi-Fi, 2 large screen High Definition televisions with Tivo and satellite TV, including HBO. Cell phone reception is very good: the cabin does not provide a landline phone.
