The community-based folk-life museum opens a door into the rich and
colorful culture of rural southern Georgia by recreating familiar and
frequented places about town. Each relic is the perfect visual stimulus
for the age-old art of storytelling. The museum has aligned its
programs to meet the Georgia Quality Core Curriculum. Families will
find the perfect setting in which to spend special moments with each
other while creating new memories for future generations. The blue
doctor, the barber, the depot agent, the postman, the editor, the
farmer, the woman of the house, and many others invite you to explore
the storytelling museum through the eyes of our ancestors in stories. Located in Cotton Hall, home of Swamp Gravy, in Colquitt, Ga.
