Located in historic downtown Albany, the Thronateeska Heritage Center is composed of three major parts: The History Museum, Wetherbee Planetarium, and Science Museum. Rental space on the historic property is also available.

    Ellis Island: The Lost Mural Exhibit

    Ellis Island: The Lost Mural features a ninety-foot recreation of the destroyed mural which surrounded the immigrant dining hall in Ellis Island. Original paintings of famous American immigrants by Andrew Sabori are also included. The story of immigration to America and its impact in Southwest Georgia is told throughout the exhibit.
