Only an hour and a half from Atlanta, near Rome, Georgia, in the heart of the historic small town of Cave Spring, guests can find the lovely Victorian Tumlin House, where Southern hospitality abounds. Browse the town's many antique and specialty shops, and walk to the limestone cave.
The Tumlin House Bed and Breakfast is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The original structure was built in 1842, but now has four beautifully decorated guest rooms furnished with antiques and reproductions.
The 1,400-square-foot wrap-around porch is ideal for relaxing. The town's namesake cave is just a short walk away. Explore the cave formations and taste the pure water flowing out by the thousands of gallons every day.
A six-course gourmet dinner is served at 7 p.m. on Saturday evenings by reservation only. Make reservations by Friday if you plan to partake.
The facility is also available for private parties, rehearsal dinners, weddings, receptions and other special events.
