The Coast
The Tybee Island Marine Science Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the appreciation, conservation, and understanding of the marine ecosystem of coastal Georgia through education and service.
Admission is valid for the entire day and covers your self-guided tour through our exhibits.
The Center’s exhibits feature a variety of live animals from coastal Georgia including fish, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. Children and adults alike enjoy our touch tank! The Center also provides information on marine mammals, sharks, sea turtles, shells from around the world, and environmental issues of our region.
Beach Discovery Walks are available for visitors through out the year
