The Upper Chattahoochee River Blue Trail is a 39-mile pristine section of waterway in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It offers excellent paddling for kayakers and canoeists, however, some experience is advisable before attempting Sections 2 and 3.
The trail begins at Sautee Creek in Helen and ends at Clarks Bridge Park (site of the Sprint Canoe/Kayak and Rowing events at the 1996 Olympic Games) in Gainesville.
