The Project Management Office and Visitor Center is located 3 miles north of West Point, Georgia off GA Hwy 29. I-85 exits #2, #6, and #18 lead to other West Point Lake parks and areas. Directions to the Project Management Office: If you are traveling from Atlanta and points north use I-85 south. Take exit #6 and turn right. Drive approximately 3 miles and turn left onto GA Hwy 29. Look for signs to the Project Management Office on the right after 2.5 miles. From Columbus Georgia and points south use I-185 North. Take Exit #34 GA Hwy 18 and turn left. Drive 12 miles on GA Hwy 18 to GA Hwy 29. Turn right on GA Hwy 29 and drive 3 miles watching for signs to the Project Management Office. If you are traveling from Auburn/Opelika and points south use I-85 north to exit #2. Turn left onto GA Hwy 18 and drive 1.5 miles to GA Hwy 29. Turn right on GA Hwy 29 and drive 3 miles watching for signs to the Project Management Office.
