West Point Lake is the perfect location to enjoy a variety of recreational activities, and the West Point Lake Visitor Center is the best place to learn about camping, picnicking, fishing, canoeing, hiking, biking, playing ball or reading your favorite book.

Annual day use passes and Corps of Engineers hunting permits are available for purchase at the Visitor Center. Displays help tell the story of the history and construction of the facilities. Gardens behind the Visitor Center are designed to attract songbirds and other wildlife, and a lakeside observation deck is just a short walk away.
