The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites you and your family to take a break from the frantic and fast pace of modern life by getting outside and immersing yourselves in the wonders of nature. West Point Lake is the perfect location to enjoy a variety of recreational activities, and the West Point Lake Visitor Center is the best place to learn about camping, picnicking, fishing, canoeing, hiking, biking, playing ball or reading your favorite book.
Annual day use passes and Corps of Engineers hunting permits are available for purchase at the Visitor Center. Displays help tell the story of the history and construction of the facilities. Gardens behind the Visitor Center are designed to attract songbirds and other wildlife, and a lakeside observation deck is just a short walk away. Make the West Point Lake Visitor Center your first stop, and learn about all of the recreational opportunities on West Point Lake.
