23rd Annual Baxley Tree Fest

The award-winning Baxley Tree Fest will be held April 12-13, 2013, in downtown Baxley. The annual celebration of the forestry industry and outdoor recreation includes many events leading up to the big weekend, including a cake baking competition, a tree-themed photography contest, Baxley's Got Talent Contest, a pet parade, a pageant, and much more.

The Friday night Street Dance with live entertainment by "The Root Doctors" will take place from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. Gates open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and events are scheduled all day, including arts and crafts vendors, an antique tractor show, a motorcycle show, a car show, turtle races, a pedal kart race, and children's games, rides and entertainment.

An admission fee of $2 per person will be charged for Friday night only. Saturday admission is free, and parking is free.
