The hunting courses are made up of nine large areas, which include rolling hills and flat lands that have been planted with an excellent quail habitat of broomsedge, lovegrass, partridge peas, milo and native grasses.
Pheasants are released twice monthly through March 24, 2013. Half-day hunts include birds, a light meal and dog handlers with retrievers. Birds may be taken in the feather at no charge. Processing costs $4.00 per bird.
Advance reservations are required. Minimum of 12 shooters, and limited to 24 shooters. Make reservations early by calling 770-773-9230.
