Fala Days

This celebration of FDR’s “best friend” has evolved into an annual gathering in downtown Warm Springs that falls on the first weekend in November. This year, this event is being hosted by the City of Warm Springs and the Scottish Terrier Club of Greater Atlanta, and it kicks off on the afternoon of Friday with a “Scottie Scavenger Hunt” among the downtown shops, followed by a pajama/pizza party at the Meriwether Country Inn.

All-day festivities on Saturday, include a parade, bagpipers, merchants and vendors, street dances, a “Fala” look-alike contest , and storytelling, among many other activities.

Scotties from more than 30 states will be represented, so bring your own Scottie on a leash if you have one.
