National Mayhaw Festival

The 30th annual National Mayhaw Festival will be held in Colquitt, GA on April 20th, 2013 at Spring Recreation Park. On Friday, April 19th Entertainment on the Square in Colquitt begining at 6:00pm. Saturday will start with a 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk begining at 8:00am at Colquitt Freewill Baptist Church on Grow Street. A Main Street Parade will begin at 10am. The Festival at Spring Creek Park will feature local and regional entertainment. Vendors will be selling arts, crafts and collectibles. A variety of food; and Mayhaw Jelly, "the best jelly in the world", will be in abundant supply. There will be many special attractions and displays for all ages.  
 
The musical comedy, May-Haw, will be held on Friday at 7:30pm and Saturday at 2:00 & 5:00pm in Cotton Hall, the home of "Swamp Gravy".
