Shamrock Dulcimer Blast

Union County Historical Society hosts the North Georgia Foothills Dulcimer Association (NGFDA) Shamrock Dulcimer Blast. Friday night kicks off NGFDA's event with the first of two evening concerts in Union County's Historic Courthouse. Saturday workshops by well-known instructors are planned for beginner to intermediate-level mountain dulcimer players.

Well-known instructors are invited, and all classes use D-A-D tuning, capo required. There is different music for each session. During Saturday afternoon, jamming and open mike performances are held for those not attending workshops.
