Yuchi Wildlife Management Area
Yuchi Wildlife Management Area (WMA) encompasses 7,800 acres of state-owned property. The WMA consists of approximately 6,000 acres of pine uplands (2,000 acres longleaf pine, 2,000 acres of slash pine, and 2,000 acres of loblolly pine), 260 acres of mixed pine-hardwood, 1,400 acres of hardwood, and 140 acres of wildlife openings. The main hunting opportunities are: deer, turkey, squirrel, raccoon, rabbit, dove, and some waterfowl and quail.
