Located just minutes north of Kingsland, the Annual Woodbine Crawfish Festival sponsored by the Woodbine Citizens Steering Committee is held in Woodbine on the last weekend in April each year. The crawfish, sort of a miniature cousin to the lobster, has managed to achieve its own celebration in Woodbine. The two-day event is held at the Waterfront Park and Riverwalk in Downtown Woodbine. It includes food (with lots of tasty crawfish etoufee!); free all-day entertainment, arts and crafts, children's activities and much more. Contact Woodbine City Hall at 912-576-3211 or www.WoodbineCrawfish.com.
