From 1908 to 1911, Savannah was the site of the first Grand Prix in the United States. The 19-mile long track ran down Skidaway Road. One of the race embankments still remains on Wormsloe's property. Historic cars from local car clubs will be on view and a presentation on the race will be offered. Guided tours will be given at the embankment.
