Visit Hahira, Ga., for the 32nd Annual Honeybee Festival, featuring arts, crafts, gospel singers, a 5-K run, a century bike ride, a dog show and a parade. The parade is touted as the "Best in Georgia." 


Festival Schedule:

Monday, September 29 
7-9 a.m. – Kick-off Breakfast will be held at the Community Center on Randall Street, and everyone is invited.

Tuesday, September 30 
8 a.m. – Senior Walk starts at the Community Center.

Wednesday, October 1
11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Community Reception will be held at the Community Center.

Friday, October 3 
9 a.m.-6 p.m. – A variety of food, arts and crafts will be showcased downtown. 

Saturday, October 4 
8 a.m.-6 p.m. – Events, arts and crafts, and food concessions are scheduled throughout the day. The 5K (3.1-mile) run starts at 8 a.m. There will be a Kids Zone with inflatables, a train ride, live pony rides, mountain climb and carousel. Parade start time is 12 p.m. The parade is one of the largest parades in South Georgia.
