The Brasstown Bald Visitor Center atop Georgia's highest mountain (elevation 4,784 feet) is open seven days a week April through December. Facilities at the summit include exhibits, a video program, and an observation deck with a 360-degree vista. Hike to the summit on a half-mile trail, or take the shuttle bus. There is a gift shop at the parking lot. Small fees for parking and the shuttle bus. Enjoy picnicking, hiking, the visitor center and the craft shop.

Gates to Brasstown Bald will be closed in inclement weather. Call before your visit to confirm that facilities are open and to confirm directions. Sometimes GPS devices can be inaccurate.

    Master Class falconer and educator, Buster Brown, will bring native and non-native raptors from Georgia Mountain Falconry to the Brasstown Bald Visitors Center.
