Spend a beautiful fall day in Cornelia, Ga. at the 28th Annual Big Red Apple Festival Oct. 10, 2015. Enjoy entertainment at the depot, browse local artisans and their crafts, admire cars at the Key Club Apple Festival Car Show, eat food from regional vendors or at downtown restaurants, let the kids loose in the Kid Zone for some fun, and much more. Don't miss the chance to take a hay ride to Chenocetah Fire Tower, which is only open this one day a year for tours, for spectacular views of Lake Russell.
