Join the fun on the campus of Brenau University for a Memphis Barbecue Network and Georgia Barbecue Association-sanctioned cooking contest. The event on May 24-25, 2013, features many of the South's best pork BBQ teams and local barbecuers in competition for cash prizes and bragging rights.
Additionally, several vendors will be plying their best upscale summertime wares, and there will be plenty of world-class BBQ and beverages for sale, and lots of activities for children. Also, browse the classic car show featuring 100 restored cars. Rain or shine.
The gate charge of $10 for Friday's Preview Party and $5 on Saturday supports scholarships for local students. Kids admitted free.
