Come join us this Memorial Day Weekend for The Challenge of the Centuries Bike Ride. Beginning and ending in Hartwell, Ga., (adjacent to beautiful Lake Hartwell and the Georgia/South Carolina border), participants enjoy riding loops that traverse rolling back country roads with picturesque scenery and minimum traffic. Each day, there are three different rides and routes: 100 miles, 100 kilometers and 50 kilometers. Enjoy the spectacular sight or the simple beauty of the wild roadside roses. This event is open to cyclists and accomplished skaters.

The Challenge of the Centuries is an official Bicycle Ride Across Georgia training ride. Since 1991, the ride has been sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Hartwell.

This event is located at the Hartwell Family YMCA in Hartwell, Ga. Camping on site is available. Several hotels are nearby. For more information, see or contact Jim Hinson at 706-376-5627.
