In 1942, the United States government acquired a mountain and the surrounding land in Toccoa, Ga., as a training facility for WWII Paratroopers. The Currahee Military Reunion Weekend serves to honor the men of Camp Toccoa, show appreciation for the sacrifices they made and celebrate their commitment to America.
Meet paratroopers, visit Currahee Military Museum, walk through the stable, run Currahee Mountain and enjoy many activities, displays, parade and other activities.
