Low Country Sisters in Crime is pleased to announce that we're sponsoring the keynote speaker in this year's The Write Place conference in Statesboro, Ga. Nancy Pickard will be speaking Friday, November 3 at the Write Place Festival (7:30 p.m. at the Averitt Center for the Arts in Statesboro). She will be sharing about her writer's journey; a book signing will follow. Authors scheduled to appear include: Jonathon Bryant, author of Dark Places of the Earth: The Voyage of the Slave Ship Antelope; and other Statesboro area writers.
