For its fifth year, the event will be returning to beautiful Babyland General Hospital in Cleveland, Ga. A professional BBQ competition sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society is the highlight of the event. Not only will teams be competing for a prize pot of more than $10,000, but they will be trying to rack up more points in the Georgia BBQ Championship series for 2013 for the title of Grand Champion in Georgia.
Other fun fall activities will include displays of local artisans and crafters, BBQ and other fair foods, entertainment Friday night and all day Saturday. Fun for the kids can be found in the Kid Zone as well as free self-guided tours through the Babyland facility.
**New for 2013** Meet Troy Landry and Brandon Hotard from "The Swamp People" television series on the History Channel. See the website event activities for details.
