Americus, GA 31719
Established in 1942, Koinonia Farm is a Christian community located in Americus, Ga. We strive to live a simple, peaceful, shared life and believe in the brother and sisterhood of all humankind. In its early existence, Koinonia's very presence challenged racism, militarism, and materialism.
Browse our site to read some of our history and the local African-American history. Look through our Web store to find fresh treats from our bakery, arts and crafts, fair-trade coffee and chocolate, and an excellent selection of books, including the Cotton Patch Version of the Gospels translated by our founder, Clarence Jordan.
We welcome you to come visit us! Just let us know when you'd like to come. We offer guest housing, RV hookups, delicious meals weekdays at noon and 4 evenings per week, organic blueberries, grapes, and other produce. Coupled with our numerous pecan orchards and miles of walking trail, Koinonia is an ideal setting for individual and group trips or retreats of any type.
