    Evan Jones, a native of Cashiers, North Carolina, was inspired by a book series called 'The Epic of Flight' which chronicles the history of human aviation.

    According to his artists' statement for this exhibit, he was interested in making associations between birds and airplanes. Growing up, he has always been fascinated with vintage warplanes and by bird watching his mother's bird feeder, waiting to see what would visit.

    Come enjoy Southwest Georgia hospitality as the Pecan City Pedalers present the 11th annual Nut Roll bicycle ride in Albany, Ga. This will be a fully supported, fun-filled day of riding, great food and exploring at Chehaw Park, with an average of 300 riders.

    The ride options are 30, 46, 62, and 102 miles. Each ride option is a progressive loop that takes you through scenic country areas. The 100-mile loop will take you to the welcome center in Plains, Ga. before you return.
