Escape to the peaceful lake!  Carters Lake is located in the Northwest Georgia mountains, between Atlanta and Chattanooga. 62 miles of shoreline surround 3200 acres of clear, clean water.

Often described as "Georgia's Best Kept Secret", the lake is a welcome escape from the bustle of city life, only an hour away. The marina offers boat dockage, lakeside cabins, houseboats and pontoon boats for rental.

 

The gas sales, store and snack bar are open to all lake users. For our boat dock customers, service and repair are also available.
