Cavender Creek Vineyards & Winery

Planned around an “old family farm” theme, Cavender Creek Vineyards and Winery features a c.1820 hand-hewn log cabin, disassembled and moved down from Tennessee, which serves as guest accommodations, overlooking the vineyard on 15 acres of beautiful rolling North Georgia hills.

Next door is the winery, with three sides below ground, styled after an old-fashioned barn like the one that was already on the property. The “loft” of the barn houses the tasting room atop the winery, with a spacious deck extending over the crush pad below. From the deck you can enjoy a view of the vineyards and the surrounding farm scene, including a number of donkeys, sheep, and "Tinkerbell", a big ole white pasture guardian dog--- all adding up to a fun family experience.

Wine tastings are $5 and $10.

Tasting room hours: 12-5:30 Friday and Saturday; 12:30-5:30 Sunday. Open every day in October.

Cavender Creek Vineyards is now proudly presenting three labels of our wonderful white Petit Manseng wine, a Merlot, a Cabernet Sauvignon, and 4 labels of our American Norton red wine.  We also serve three sweet muscadine wines "imported" from Still Pond, a south Georgia winery.
