Cavender Creek Vineyards and Winery
Dahlonega, GA 30533
Planned around an "old family farm" theme, Cavender Creek Vineyards and Winery features a c.1820 hand-hewn log cabin, disassembled and moved from Tennessee, which serves as guest accommodations. Next door is the winery, styled after an old-fashioned barn like the one that was already on the property. The "loft" of the barn houses the tasting room, with a spacious deck extending over the crush pad. From the deck, enjoy a view of the vineyards and the surrounding farm scene, including a number of donkeys, sheep, and "Tinkerbell," a big white pasture guardian dog--- all adding up to a fun family experience.
Wine tastings are $5 for four wines of your choice.
Tasting room hours: 11:00-5:30 Thursday, Friday and Saturday; 12:30-5:30 Sunday. Open every day in October.
Cavender Creek Vineyards is now proudly presenting three labels of our white Petit Manseng wine, a Merlot, a Cabernet Sauvignon, and four labels of our American Norton red wine. We also serve four sweet muscadine wines. We have wines to suite every palate!
