Selected by the Southeast Tourism Society as a Top 20 Event, the Blind Willie Blues Festival is one of the finest small festivals in the Southeast, with fans and patrons attending from all over the United States. A celebration of the Blues that brings in great music and honors Thomson, GA native, Blind Willie McTell, a Georgia Music Hall of Fame member and recognized internationally for his songwriting and 12 string guitar skills. Performances by local, regional and national musicians. Music, local �southern� food, and merchandise vendors all add to the fun.
Festival Site: Stagecoach Road, just east of Washington Highway (Hwy 17N, Exit 172 on I-20), north of Thomson.
