Located a few miles outside of historic Madison, Ga., this farming town is home to the remake filming of the movie Footloose, as well as the Annual Cotton Gin Festival!  On Saturday, November 7, the festivities will begin at 9a.m with a parade beginning at 11 a.m. complete with tractors and antique cars, followed by a full day of cotton-ginning, festival fun! There will be booths of hand-made arts and crafts, and you will likely find your favorite edible treat at the many food vendors. Kids may play in the recently harvested cotton, and the gin will be operating all day long! You'll definitely want to make it a weekend getaway and visit the many unique shops and restaurants that have earned Madison a place on Budget Travel Magazine's list of "Most Picturesque Villages in the World!" www.madisonga.org
