Branford Marsalis & Joey Calderazzo Duo

Thomasville Entertainment Foundation celebrates its 75th Anniversary Season with Branford Marsalis & Joey Calderazzo Duo, Saxophone and Piano. Grammy award-winning saxophonist and NEA Jazz Master Branford Marsalis is a consummate artist in a broad range of musical styles, and Joey Calderazzo, a longtime member of the Branford Marsalis Quartet, is one of the Jazz realm's most versatile pianists. Performing together as a duo, the two friends create music that is surprisingly sublime. The concert will feature music from their recent CD, "Songs of Mirth and Melancholy," a magical collaboration born of an ever-evolving love of music.
