  • Floating on the Chattahoochee River by Tom Wilson

With daytime temperatures heating up, Summer Splash offers a day of cool relief. Paddle and drift past the river's natural grandeur; witness a great blue heron in flight or the riffles of a river otter swimming. Plan on your river journey taking approximately three hours, depending on the river's current and how much time is actually spent paddling. After completing the float, enjoy an afternoon of music, food and fun for the entire family at the Powers Island festivities.
