Chestatee RIver Adventures

Come and enjoy a relaxing and beautiful float down the Chestatee River in Dahlonega, Georgia. We offer both a tubing and kayak trip that is enjoyable for families of all sizes and ages.

TUBING trip lasts between 30 and 45 and requires a short walk back down a trail along an old road bed right next to the river. We allow you to use the tubes in the designated area as long as you would like for only $5.

KAYAK trip starts at our place and winds around the mountain to the landing near the end of Highway 400. The kayak trip takes you through the peaceful nature of the north Georgia mountains where there is nothing but wildlife, rock cliffs and woodland and takes on averge between 2 1/2 and 3 hours. The kayaks seat one and are only $25. We strongly recommend that reservations are made to guarantee your kayaks. Hope to see you soon!!
