The State Botanical Garden's Visitor Center and Conservatory and its plazas will be filled with trees, shrub, herbs, perennials, annuals and more, including Georgia Gold Medal plants and a broad selection of native plants. Numerous garden specialists, including garden curators, master gardeners, and horticulturists, will be on hand to help. The Garden's coffee/sandwich café, Donderos' Kitchen, and garden-themed gift shop will also be open.
The Trial Gardens at UGA will offer plants difficult to find anywhere else in Georgia. Dr. Ruter, the director of the Trial Gardens and a professor of the Horticulture Department at UGA, will be there to lead tours of the Garden and sign his newest book, Landscaping with Conifers and Ginkgo for the Southeast.
The UGA Horticulture Club will have UGA horticulture professors to share their knowledge on the garden and landscape plants for sale at the intersection of College Station and Riverbend roads.
