Classic City Tours - Athens

Classic City Tours, operated out of the Athens Welcome Center, provides a full range of tour and transportation services for individuals and groups. Set out on your own with a self-guided audio or podcast tour, take one of the daily guided heritage tours through Athens' historic districts or an in-depth Museum Mile Tour of historic interiors of the four house museums, or schedule a custom tour for your area of interest.

Shuttle services: Rent the Classic City Tours bus and a driver for $50 per hour. Call for availability.

Step-on tour guides: If a group with its own bus comes to Athens and would like a tour, a Classic City Tours guide will "step on" the bus and give a Tour of Historic Athens. Cost: $50 per hour. Advance notice required. 

Specialty tours and corporate tours: For special events and conferences, tours may include gardens, a downtown walking tour, a University of Georgia walking tour, African-American Heritage, music heritage and museums.
