Taste of Athens

"Eat, Drink, and Help Many" by attending the 20th annual Taste of Athens. Welcoming 2,000 guests each year, this unique event provides an evening of opportunities to sample food from more than 50 local restaurants, enjoy wine and beer tastings, and bid on a premier silent auction.

Taste of Athens Weekend includes the Taste 10K, a Peachtree Road Race qualifier, on Saturday Feb. 16 at 8 a.m. through downtown Athens. Register for the 10K at http://www.active.com/running/athens-ga/taste-10k-2013. The weekend wraps up with the Taste of Athens event at The Classic Center on Feb. 17 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Proceeds from Taste of Athens benefit the Community Connection of Northeast Georgia, which has empowered the community to get, give, and grow help for more than 25 years. Assisting more than 70,000 people each year to find the help they need, Community Connection is an umbrella agency overseeing crucial social services in Northeast Georgia.
