This Precious Stone, This England

The Columbus Symphony Orchestra presents "This Precious Stone, This England" featuring violinist Jennifer Frautschi. This concert features two works by English composers, both written in the early part of the 20th century. American violinist Jennifer Frautschi brings her superlative technique and refined musical taste to the Elgar concerto. Vaughan Wiliams' symphony is an evocation of London in the early 1900s including references to Big Ben and a chilly town square on a November afternoon.
