The Alpharetta Arboretum at Wills Park was established in 2008 and showcases the natural setting and beauty of many native tree species of the Southeastern United States. Pick up a complimentary walking tour brochure at the Alpharetta Welcome Center and discover this free attraction for yourself. The arboretum is located in Wills Park, a 110-acre multi-use park near the downtown center of Alpharetta.

    Children ages 4-12 are invited to participate in the Youth Fishing Derby sponsored by the City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department. Adults must accompany children. Prizes will be awarded for longest fish and most fish caught. Bring fishing gear and bait. 

    The event is free, but pre-registration is required. Space is limited to the first 80 children. To pre-register, call 678-297-6133.
