Warner Plays Shostakovich

The Columbus Symphony Orchestra is pleased to present "Warner Plays Shostakovich" featuring Wendy Warner on the Violoncello. Enjoy Beethoven's - Coriolanus Overture, Op. 62; Shostakovich's - Cello Concerto No. 1, Op. 107; and Beethoven's - Symphony No. 7 in A Major, Op. 92. Two glorious works by Beethoven frame the appearance with the CSO of world-renowned cellist Wendy Warner. The music of both Beethoven and Shostakovich is marked by its profound expression of the human spirit.
