Eiland in the galleries for a lecture on the work of Abstract Expressionist artist John Haley, held in conjunction with the exhibition "John Haley: Berkeley School Abstract Expressionist." Organized by the Monterey Museum of Art, the exhibition includes abstract paintings by the American artist John Haley (1905-1991) from the collections of several private lenders. The exhibition highlights a prolific but lesser-known artist whose reputation as a mentor has perhaps overshadowed the impact of his own paintings.
