Plunge for Paws

Freeze the day and join the Leadership Jackson Class for the coolest thing you'll do all year! Come witness the brave souls who will "Plunge for Paws" into Crow's Lake in Jefferson on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013. The event begins at 2:30 p.m. with a warm up and introductions of the plungers. The jump will take place at 3:30 p.m.

There also will be a bounce house for kids, and chili, Brunswick stew, boiled peanuts and hot chocolate will be available for sale. All proceeds from food sales and donations to support plungers will benefit the Humane Society of Jackson County in their efforts to build an animal shelter.
