The Prime Community Park, also called the Secret Garden, started with a simple desire: to create a special place for the community to enjoy a tranquil respite. Alfred and Jolene Dingler, Karl Thomason and their families believe in a strong sense of community. As a way to give back, they have opened their gardens free of charge for others to enjoy.
Take a quiet stroll down the paths and enjoy a colorful ensemble of hand-selected flowers and shrubs that look very different each season. The park is a perfect spot to enjoy a good book or let the kids play. Enjoy the old-time swing, or bring a snack and sit at the "rock table." Whatever your mood is when you arrive, you will leave refreshed and inspired after taking a few moments to enjoy all that nature has to offer.
The garden connects to the Episcopal Church of the Nativity and features many trails all around the church. Make sure you follow the mile-long, winding path to the center of the new labyrinth.
