Roswell Roots

To celebrate Black History Month, Roswell is hosting the 12th Annual Roswell Roots festival throughout February 2013. Roswell Roots celebrates black history and culture through a variety of art exhibits, history and cultural events.

Highlights of this year's celebration include Freddy Cole in Concert on Friday, Feb. 15 at 8:00 p.m. at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center; Roswell Poetry Slam on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 7:00 p.m. at the Roswell Historic Cottage; and the 2nd Annual Cornbread Cook-Off on Saturday, Feb. 23 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Community Center.
