Callaway Gardens Fly Fishing School April 2013

Learn the graceful art of fly-fishing from certified instructors on April 13-14, 2013, at Callaway Gardens. In April, the ponds at Callaway are teeming with activity, especially from the native sunfish that assault any insect they encounter.

Day One consists of classroom instruction, casting practice and lake fishing. Day Two focuses on river and stream fishing, and includes a trip to the nearby Flint River to cast for shoal bass.

$350 per person includes use of pre­mium equipment from Kingfisher Outfitters, off-site transportation on Day Two and catered lunch on both days. Lim­ited to 10 participants to ensure an effective instructor-student ratio.
