Callaway Gardens: Mastering Night Photography at the Sky High Hot Air Balloon Festival

Part of the Callaway Gardens Digital SLR Photography Workshop Series, the Mastering Night Photography workshops during the Sky High Hot Air Balloon Festival offer abundant photo opportunities. The event starts Friday night when the balloons are set up along the bank of Robin Lake for a coordinated "balloon glow." Participants meet in the classroom ahead of time to discuss camera and exposure settings and then meet on location to shoot the balloon glow. 

Saturday morning, participants meet for the balloon launch and then go back to the classroom for image uploads and assistance with post-processing. Participants meet again Saturday evening for the launch and another balloon glow. Sunday morning is another balloon launch, and then participants go back to the classroom for image uploads, post-processing and a group critique.

Register for the entire workshop or just a single day. Tripods and cable releases are recommended. Fee: $85 includes digital handout. Limited to 20 participants.
