Callaway Gardens Foundations in Photography III: Mastering Focus

This photography workshop is designed to assist participants with mastery of focus and exposure. Topics include: understanding autofocus, understanding manual focus, achieving an accurate focus with stationary subjects and subjects in motion, understanding exposure, understanding exposure meters and metering modes, evaluating your exposure, understanding histograms, using exposure compensation, using automatic exposure bracketing, and using automatic exposure lock. Throughout the workshop, we cover the topic in class and practice in the field. The workshop concludes with a presentation and discussion of dynamic range and high dynamic range (HDR) photography. Fee: $75 includes lunch and digital handout.
